The Global Corporate Governance Forum and the International Finance Corporation, in partnership with the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the National Institute for Securities Market (NISM) convened a Business Investor Dialogue in Mumbai on February 25, 2008. The purpose of the event was to facilitate a dialogue between the private sector, domestic and international investors, and SEBI, which provided the participants with an opportunity to voice their recommendations for improved corporate governance of Indian enterprises.
