Focus Publications

With its mandate to disseminate best practice, the Global Corporate Governance Forum has commissioned case studies on corporate governance issues relevant to developing countries. Focus publications offer self-help guidance to foster corporate governance reform.

Stakeholder Engagement and the Board: Integrating Best Governance Practices, Focus 8, by Peter Zollinger, Senior Vice President, Sustainability. This publication provides an introduction to stakeholder engagement from the perspective of internationally recognized, good corporate governance practices. It is aimed at senior executives and company directors and explains how stakeholder concerns can inform and enhance the risk management and wealth creation responsibilities of boards of directors. It provides practical tips and tools to help navigate stakeholder engagement in a way that strengthens the long-term sustainability of companies and enhances trust and reputation among stakeholders.
